This episode is now the index of the chronicle → book path: what the craft is, what has been built with it, and the one question the craft cannot answer about itself.

The mastery ep039 was named for exists: six chronicle books are playable today. The mandate ep039 was activated for does not: no book has ever been offered to a reader. Seven stages built, stage seven never run.
