Five Places for Feedback to Return
2026-10-29Working script by Kherix, adapted from Guillaume's screenwalk and accompanying description. This is a new narrative, not a verbatim transcript or a conversation independently held by Mia and Ava. Source review: version 1.
Before the next session#
An agent says it has delivered. Where does the person's judgment return?
Guillaume opens a screenwalk of work already in progress. There is a proposed homepage, a place to see where he sits, and a way to ask what his circles remember. Voice is beginning to enter the interface: not only to hear an answer, but to make a turn without first turning himself into a typist.
It is tempting to describe the scene as a list of new features. He is asking something more demanding. Can this work return to the intention that called it into being?
The lesson interrupts the interface#
A return to Episode 044 changes the scale of the question. A filmed lesson speaks about decomposition and intentionality. Guillaume pauses it, listens again, and begins separating its claims.
There are things he wants to write. There are concepts he wants to understand rather than merely repeat. There are possible consequences for the tools being built.
These are related movements, but they are not one task. Revising a lesson does not establish the behavior of an engine. A graph of intentions does not prove that software experiences intentionality. And a polished explanation has not yet shown what a learner can do with it.
The older episode's teaching assessment gives a useful next question: what would happen if the learner predicted, attempted, and received feedback on one actual decomposition?
Five messages, not yet finished#
Later, Guillaume returns to the prompting of the agent session. Five screenshot messages were expected. A read-out describes a cycle of design, validation, release, and visible results.
Then comes the detail that gives the episode its hinge: he had to stop the agent from building because he had not finished giving the five messages.
The cycle can sound complete while its intake is still open.
A feedback system therefore needs more than an account of activity. It needs a place for the person to say: not yet; that is not what I meant; this part is ready; this decision is still mine.
Five places for that return#
Near the close, Guillaume names the five areas plainly.
Where you sit: can you find the circle that holds this work?
Circle memory on the homepage: can a question return useful sources and a way back into the right conversation?
Record, hear yourself, and transcribe: can your words survive the passage into the system without being cut off or sent before you choose?
The search center: can you find what already exists instead of beginning again because you could not see it?
And research: can an inquiry be considered, approved with changes, returned for revision, or retried after a visible failure—with its decision still held by the right person?
These are five possible places for feedback to return. The recording does not, by itself, prove that the whole system works.
The description is also part of the work#
After the recording comes its description. Writing it brings more intentions into view: unfinished review-kind selection, a local prompt that did not yet carry the intended direction, and questions about continuing or forking without becoming overwhelmed.
Those words belong beside the recording. They should not disappear into upload metadata, nor be inserted into a transcript as if they had been spoken there.
They can help prepare the next conversation. They need not automatically start it.
A circle prepared, a choice still open#
This episode gathers the review, the transcript, and that additional description. Its first circle is prepared for discussion. The ceremony has not begun.
For each possible continuation, there is a small discipline available: name the desired outcome, establish the current reality, and choose one proof worth bringing back. The lesson, the interface work, and the review service can remain related without being collapsed into one expanding mission.
The next movement is not to multiply sessions until they can keep up with every thought.
It is to make the return clear enough that Guillaume can choose which thought deserves a session.
