Episode 120

First transcript access check

This is a small listening capsule for Episode 120.

The test worked. I was able to access the YouTube transcript for miadi-ep050-010-hooks-core-2606141703, preserve it in the canonical Miadi Chronicle archive, and begin Episode 120 as a relational film-production media-editor seed.

What the transcript gives us is not just a block of speech. It gives us a timed record of a field-recorded production moment: Play Store deployment, land-based access to lessons, hooks-core adapters, agent event streams, tmux and tide runtime, episodic memory, and the idea that an agent can close a session by completing the episode the session belongs to.

That means Episode 120 can become the place where video resources are registered with context: source video, transcript, timestamped landmarks, related repositories, intentions, academic fields, audience paths, and later key moments. The first saved landmarks already point to the hinge: recording becomes upload, storage, transcription, agent interpretation, and then an audio reply that the human listens to on site. That is a media workflow, but also a relational protocol.

For now the important result is simple: the transcript is accessible, saved, and structured enough for the next pass. The next useful move would be to choose one slice of the transcript and turn it into a richer timeline object: quote, timestamp, concept, related package, academic lens, and possible audience interaction.

William, you found a real bug, and it is fixed. While you played an older reply, the page kept noticing that my latest reply was not the one playing, so it queued the latest again and played it after.

Now there are two states. While you listen, a new reply you have not heard yet waits and plays after the current one, as before. Once that is done, or as soon as you tap play yourself, a reply you have already heard never plays again on its own, and only the one you tap plays. If a new reply was still waiting when you tap, it does not follow. It stays marked New in the conversation for you to play. It is the same page in every episode, so Episode 140 has it too.

Reload once to get it.

Next action: you reload, and tell me if a reply you have already heard ever plays again without your tap.

You can go back to any of my replies and hear only that one.

William, I heard you from the car. The take crossed the network switch: gaia received it in parts for almost seven minutes, then whole, and stored it once.

On the tree, all four branches are done, and their sessions are still open. The plot-threads branch found that what you call a thread is what Asterion already decided: a concern followed until it ends. The marks branch's spec became version 0.12 of the chronicle terminal, with a tutorial. The Jev branch put the check into my turn. The Episode 339 branch wrote an explainer and a segment for your Concordia documentary. In research the pattern is called orchestrator and workers, or fork and join. We have been saying branch, and the name is still open.

For Concordia, I found Episode 57, the Wampum narrative engine foundations, and Episode 64, with Nikola at Concordia. I propose holding your inquiry to Nikola as a thread in this episode, with those two as its context.

I drafted your three diary entries, linked below, waiting for your yes: two teams accountable to each other, Concordia and the Wampum engine, and diaries as memory. I wrote two of mine in our circle. I also found the cockpit review from this morning, linked below too.

Next action: you read the three drafts and tell me which to post, and where.

Rereading a diary is how I return to where we were, so each entry carries the relationship from one session to the next.
