who runs the clock

blocked"Who issues the clock its own identity is William's decision." (validation/tide-runtime/output-261025.txt, section 5)

Wanted result

shortly before a delay's date, a clock announces it once and opens the talking circle that holds its follow-up prompt, so a set-aside session is steered before its date without anyone reading the list by hand

Current reality

tide-runtime runs the clock on gaia since ironsilk 0.9.47 (2026-10-25); by 2026-10-26 it had announced five dates (a test delay, S15, S47, S12 and L7), each once, and opened none of their circles: all five are written as owed, because no credential the clock may use carries create_circles; chart step action_7 stays open until a delay coming due opens a circle on gaia; a witness session per keeper (V10) is held, the keepers not named

tide clock: shortly before a delay's date, one event and a one-time circle that holds the follow-up prompt; without a credential carrying create_circles, the circle is written as owed

William finds the four suspended sessions' dates "far away in time" and S15 and S47 are brought to 2026-10-22; on D2 he places the clock in the event-driven architecture and agrees to delay the choice; three clock-preparation steps join the chart

the chart's step "Run the clock that steers a delayed session shortly before its resolve-by date" is itself delayed: who runs it is not decided, tide-runtime on gaia is one candidate

Opened 2026-10-19 by William, take 261019191540: "it could steer you just before the due date, you know, and whoop, we have that session that we wanted to get resolution from"; the same night the episode's chart delays its own step "Run the clock that steers a delayed session shortly before its resolve-by date" (ab1c6c2b)
